Winkstock lll

November 10, 2007

A cool and sunny day greeted the participents and spectators of Winkstock lll held at Rich Winkler's Dirt Wurx complex in upstate New York.

There was a something for everyone in attendance. Of course the racing was a blast with a run what you brung event. One for the small bikes and one for the Mo' Bigger machines.

Then there was the recreation of the Shootout at the OK Corral. Just shoot 6 rounds with a hand gun, put that down and shoot two targets with the rifle. But make sure you knock down the opponent right next to you when your done!

There was loads of food, drink, bonfires, riding, racing, shooting and bench racing. Plus watching a dog jump three feet in the air over a big fire pit. Not once but over and over and over again.

A great day was had by all!

Preparing for the next AMA meeting. What do you mean no Two Strokes?

Rich raced this Ossa in the Mo Big Moto. It slides great!

Alex G won the mini race on this high tech two stroke Yamaha. Have you ever ridden with slicks in the mud? Alex did!

Mike Leavitt won the Mo Big Moto on his Honda CR125. This was the first time Mike rode since he broke his collarbone in August. The sound of that 125 not shutting off was absolutely amazing to hear!

A close up of Mike's trophy.

There were also trophies for shooting as well. No riders were hurt during the photo or event.

The food was plentiful and tasty!

Rich has a great collection of bikes and memorabilia displayed in his workshop.
